Hi @Taylordr61 ,

If you have already pressed “Learn Max Moisture”, please hang tight for now as we are working on adjusting how frequently the notification is sent. One of the engineers will be responding with more details as they become available.

Thanks,

Thank you for the update, I’ve already noticed the difference! The updated wording is very helpful; I got it, and it was more like a “suggestion” than “required” and I didn’t do anything and the next time I checked it wasn’t there and remains gone. Maybe ideal to have a prompt like “recalibrate” or “ignore/I’m confident it’s already set well” but I’m also happy with the way it’s functioning now. Thank you!

Hi @Taylordr61, @Sixto

For both of your devices, the soil is a bit lose near the top. Since both of the devices are still functioning in `Normal` state, it is not necessary to do anything at the moment unless you would want to make sure the device is as accurate and stable as it can be. In the updated messaging the AI would you just tell you this and let you decide on what to do.

Thank you for your kind words and support

Thanks Al, I really appreciate you and @homedigy-stanley and @homedigy-lawrence taking the time to answer these questions, I’ve learned a lot from these discussions, so thanks to you and the engineering team for being willing to share the details behind how everything works.

Would you recommend a heavy water and insure that the soil is around the unit or move it

Hi @Taylordr61

I would say for now if you dont’ want to reinstall your device again and go through the calibration, you can try squeezing the soil around the sensor near the top a bit and see if the problem goes away.

Sorry for late reply. Things should be clearer once we roll out the online knowledge base.

Hi All,

We have just pushed a release yesterday and one of the fixes included is better notification messages. It should now be less aggressive for issues that are not immediate but are more recommendations for improving device accuracy. We will keep iterating over the experience. Please let us know of any issues or confusions you are encountering.
