Any news on Rachio integration? Last update on software was almost 2 months ago. Just curious!
Hi @Gr8M1ke,
Thanks for checking in. We do not have a release date to share yet.
Rachio remains part of our irrigation controller plans. We will post a dedicated announcement when the details are ready. I do not have an ETA for that announcement.
Thank you for your patience.

I have just about given up on this device, as no news on Rachio integration. Constantly asking to recalibrate to no end and even saying this device doesn’t recognize soil contact. Actually Rachio is able to forecast upcoming weather and will alter watering as needed. Such a disappointment!
Hi @Corvettedoug,
Thanks for the feedback. We will post an announcement soon with more detail on Rachio integration.
For the repeated recalibration and soil-contact messages, please review the the sensor calibration guide, which explains the calibration process and steps that may improve soil contact. If the messages continue after following the guide, please let us know (although we are in the process of making them less aggressive).

Hi Stanley, I have 3 to 4 times now. I just gave up.
Hi @Corvettedoug ,
Sorry to hear about the trouble. Is the problematic device (I believe its serial number ends with YMF?) still installed in the soil, or has it been removed?
If it is still installed, please let us know whether the other one is also affected.
Best,
Stanley

Hello Stanley, I haven’t checked the app lately, but it appears the YMF is now the only one giving trouble. It is in the soil. Both units were constantly asking me to recalibrate.
Hi @Corvettedoug ,
We briefly checked your devices yesterday and saw only YMF is giving you notification messages. Can you press on it? It will tell you more information on either what’s happening (in those cases, the best scenario is waiting) or action steps (e.g. if the installation was bad and we recommend that you relocate the unit due to the soil being too loose).
The notifications were too sensitive but we have adjusted them while making sure the messages are clearer. Please let us know if you need more assistance as we would like to get your unit (serial number ending with YMF) up and running.
Thanks,
Stanley

Hi @Corvettedoug ,
This is Al from Engineering. I took a look at your devices.
“Backyard Lawn” looks to be functioning correctly now and you should no longer see any more notification for that device.
“CorvetteCentral” is the one reporting lack of soil contact. This is highly unusual for a device still in soil. It seem like you just managed to put the device somewhere with better soil contact? Please let us know how it goes.
Thank you for your patience
