Can Soil Moisture be 100%

Afternoon thunder storms in Florida can drop a lot of rain in a short period of time. Amounts as reported by Ambient weather station in my yard.

8/6 received .71 inches

8/7 received 1.86 inches

8/8 received .71 inches

The app asked me to run a calibration due to detected soil movement after the storm on 8/7. I never saw the app report 100% moisture at any depth. Is that expected? When I look at the graph it looks like it gets to 100%, but is it too brief to get app to report moisture reached 100%?

Hi @Bob ,

I will defer to engineering to answer your question regarding 100%, but rainfall events are common timings for deep water calibration.
