How to Request Account and Data Deletion

Your privacy is important to us. We provide two ways to permanently delete your account and associated data.

Method 1: From the App (Recommended)

The easiest and fastest way to delete your account is directly within the app.

  1. Navigate to the [Settings] and click on your email address to access [User Information].
  2. Tap on “Delete Account” and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the deletion.

Method 2: By Email (If you cannot access the app)

If you no longer have access to the app, you can submit a deletion request via email.

Step 1: Review Our Privacy Policy
Before initiating a deletion request, we strongly encourage you to carefully review our Privacy Policy. This document details what data we collect and how the deletion process is handled, ensuring you are fully informed.

Step 2: Send a Deletion Request Email
To start the process, please send an email to our privacy team at tech-support@homedigy.com.

  • Subject Line: Please use “Account Data Deletion Request”

  • Email Body: In the email, please state that you wish to delete your account and provide the exact email address you use to log in. This is required for us to verify your identity and locate your account.

Important for iOS “Hide My Email” Users
If you signed up using your Apple ID with the “Hide My Email” feature enabled, you must provide the unique, private relay email address that Apple generated for our app. We cannot find your account using your personal email address.

How to find your private relay email address:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on your name / Apple ID at the top.
  3. Go to Password & Security.
  4. Tap on Apps Using Apple ID.
  5. Select our app from the list.
  6. The anonymized email address will be displayed under “This App Received”. Please copy this exact email and include it in your deletion request.

What to Expect Next
Once we receive your request, our team will begin the verification process. We will send a confirmation to your registered email address before proceeding with the permanent deletion. The entire process may take several business days to complete.
