We received multiple reports for unusual or inaccurate recommendations on the App

Hi all,

We received multiple reports for unusual or inaccurate recommendations on the App. Please refrain from taking any immediate actions at the moment as we are still in the process of upgrading the analytics and soil physics modelling on the backend and some of these recommendations may not be accurate. We will be making another announcement once the entire process is completed.

Thank you for your patience.

Will the upgraded soil physics model include clay soil?

Yes. In fact, this is in the process of being incorporated into the model as we are upgrading it right now. We really appreciated your help with the finger tests to adjust the model before we simplified the training model.

We’ve identified and fixed the Cloud AI issue that was triggering false soil-probe reset prompts. You do NOT need to remove or re-install your probes any further.

Status
• Resolved—Cloud AI patch deployed June 2
• Impact was limited to beta testers seeing “calibration required” or “no signal” alerts

Recommended action
• Ignore any further “reset” or “recalibrate” messages in the app
• Leave your probes installed in the current location; data will resume normally
• If you already did a reset, no additional steps are required

Ongoing monitoring & next update
• We’re continuing to watch system health—so far things look stable.
• We’ll post another brief note here by June 10 (or earlier) if there’s anything more to report.

As always, thank you for your patience and for helping us squash these bugs. If you have any remaining questions or see anything unexpected, please reply below or open a new topic in the Bugs category.
