Several suggestions. Be able to replace batteries while in the soil by removing top saves having to relearn soil every 9 months. Or atleast remove the tabs that stickout in the soil making it harder to remove and replace n compact clay soil. Another suggestion would be a locator sound also.

Appreciate the feedback here. I may have answered in the other thread about why we chose this path (specifically an intended engineering decision). We make the batteries last as long as possible so that customers can service the O-rings at the same time as swapping out the batteries.
