You you change the direction of the GeoDrop is facing to get a better wifi signal? I thought this was discussed a while back but cannot find it.
Yes you can, Stanley can help include a photo showing where the antenna is at.
In general, it’s usually better to face the antenna side of the device towards the house for maximum Wifi signal strength.
Also note that as long as there’s a little bit of Wifi signal, GeoDrops will be able to self-retry and connect to the Internet (it’ll cause higher battery usage though).
(note: optimizing Wifi signal strength is a relatively complicated topic, since 2.4GHz is relatively high frequency and can both penetrate and bounce off most household objects, so in rare cases it may be better to face the device towards a wall if you suspect your Wifi signal is primarily bouncing and not penetrating)
