Weird readings on clay soil

Hello,

The device stated to behave weird some days ago. First it did not detect properly a heavy rain and the soil should be very wet, we got more than 3in rain. Now, it shows soil drying out within one day and wet again the next day although there was no rain. Any hints?

Apologies for the delay responding. Over the winter, we have been receiving reports of this. We are in the process of launching a software update soon addressing this (there should be an upcoming announcement on the app and through email). In the meantime, please leave the devices installed at the sites.
